Requirements
- Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development, or technical writing, preferably in the IT services or software development industry with experience of public sector bids and tenders.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and translate technical concepts into clear and compelling content.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- An awareness of technology and/or experience of writing technology based public sector bids and tenders.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-qualification: Ensure we have a robust pre-proposal qualification process to ensure we focus on those Bids where we have a better chance of success
- Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end development of high-quality bid proposals, RFP responses, and tender submissions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and persuasive content that effectively communicates Spyrosoft’s strengths, expertise, and value proposition to prospective clients.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand client requirements, market trends, competitor offerings, Spyrosoft capability/case studies and industry best practices to inform bid strategies and content development.
- Bid Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of the bid process, including organizing kick-off meetings, setting timelines, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely submission of proposals.
- Quality Assurance: Review and edit proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance with requirements, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with sales, technical, and subject matter experts to gather information, refine solution approaches, and address client needs effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, template enhancements, and knowledge sharing to optimize bid development processes and outcomes.
- Documentation Management: Work with central team on a central repository of bid-related documents, templates, and content for easy access and reuse.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client presentations, meetings, and negotiations as needed to support the sales process and address client queries.
