Stratford-on-Avon District Council have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join our Environmental and Neighbourhood Services Team. This is a new role which will lead in providing technical construction expertise to ensure our varied property portfolio is proactively maintained.
Leading a small team of Maintenance Officers, you will develop and implement a medium-term maintenance plan; identifying repair and maintenance needs, including preparation of specifications for building works. You will be skilled at managing multiple projects to ensure that they are delivered to time and within budget, alongside dealing with unexpected works.
Local authority experience is not essential for this role, and we would welcome applicants with experience in other sectors.
