Red Rock Partnership Limited are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Pontefract who are looking for a Techincal Compliance Co-ordinator to join their busy team.

About the Business:

Our client is manufacturer and supplier of tea, coffee and extract ingredients solutions to beverage brand owners, retailerd and food service operators worldwide. 

About The Role:

The Technical Compliance Co-ordinator is a member of the site technical team reporting to the Site Technical Manager.  This role is responsible for the delivery of the site Quality Assurance Program for tea, coffee, warehouse & distribution, and raw materials.  This includes internal & external audit co-ordination and management (including GMP program), facilitation of auditor training (with the L&D function), and delivery of the site monitoring program, aligned to site and global standards.

Hours of work : Monday to Friday 8:45AM till 5:15PM with an hour early finish on Fridays.

Salary : £33,600 per annum

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Technical Compliance Co-ordinator delivers the site Quality and Food Safety Assurance objectives, through the following deliverables:

Execution of the Quality Assurance Audit program:: 

  • Taking full accountability for the site internal and external audit program, for Quality, Food Safety, GMP, Ethical Certifications and Customer audit program, 
  • Creation and execution of the site audit calendar, ensuring compliance to calendar,
  • Supporting all internal audits (including GMP, Ethical Certifications and traceability audits), as required, and in alignment with the BRC audit requirements,
  • Capturing of all non-conformances in the non-conformance log, in accordance with site and group non-conformance management,
  • Working with functions to support closure of audit findings with sustainable long term (100 year) fixes.
  • Reporting and sharing insights for monthly and quarterly site Quality and Food Safety meetings,
  • Identifying areas of continuous improvement based on the audit findings, and working with functions to drive improvement.
  • Support the site during external audits including customer audits where appropriate. 

About you:

Expert knowledge of GFSI standard(s), most specifically good working knowledge of the BRCGS

Knowledge of relevant customer standards.

Regulatory and Legal awareness of Food Safety related legislation (FDA, EFSA, ISO).

Knowledge of relevant sustainability and religious standards.

Able to conduct personnel training (expert).

Strong decision-making skills.

Experience in the Food & Beverage industry.

Proficient in MS Office.

Able to communicate in English both verbally and written.

Qualification in HACCP Level 3.
