1st Choice are currently representing an industry leading company that specialises in high-security locking and door systems. They are seeking an experienced Technical Content Writer to join their rapidly expanding business to bring a fresh approach to creating critical written marketing content.

You will be supporting a bustling team with a focus on amplifying awareness of the company through diverse written mediums such as email newsletters, news articles, webinars, product launches, and promotional materials.

As part of their marketing team, your role will involve creating clear and engaging content for both print and digital platforms, ensuring consistency across all communications. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders and external creative agencies to execute communication plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop all written content across various channels for different business areas.
• Oversee and maintain written content across company websites, literature, and other assets to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical, and Production teams to generate technically precise content.
• Plan and produce blog posts discussing current trends in the industry, while also spotlighting specific company products.
• Work closely with other members of the Marketing Team to uphold consistent brand identity, tone, and voice.

Requirements

This role requires a proactive and highly organised individual, with prior experience in Technical Content creation within the manufacturing/engineering sector. This role offers a degree of autonomy, requiring close collaboration with various internal stakeholders.

• Demonstrable expertise as a technical writer (2+ years) producing content for B2B brands.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to spelling and grammar.
• Ability to independently prioritise workload with strong organisational and planning skills.
• Thorough and detail-oriented approach.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Adaptability, resilience under pressure, and a sense of ownership.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
