JOB TITLE: Technical Data Analyst
SALARY: £62,874 - £69,860
LOCATIONS: Leeds, Edinburgh or Bristol
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) at our Leeds, Edinburgh or Bristol locations.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Analyst to join the Insurance, Pensions and Investment (IP&I ) Data & Analytics Office!
Within the role you will be responsible for designing and driving high quality data Use Cases, drawing upon your technical expertise, whilst being open minded and leverage the opportunities the cloud provides. Here’s where you’ll make the difference:
  • Analyse and assess business and technical requirements to provide effective solutions for customer and platform needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document data, process and system specifications to design and support the implementation of efficient solutions.
  • Conduct thorough process and data analysis and present actionable insights to support the E2E delivery Use Case
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to maintain momentum of the delivery of use cases.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance technical capabilities.

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as a Technical Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Track record of delivering at pace, sharing knowledge and building cohesion across multiple teams with competing priorities.
  • Experience and proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, Python or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to evolving technologies.

And any experience of these would be useful:
  • Experience and knowledge of Insurance, Pensions and Investment products.
