Job role:           Technical Delivery Consultant

Location:           Hybrid working opportunity – Gloucestershire (GL11)

Salary:              Between £35k-£50k (depending on skill / experience) + Company Car or Car allowance

Our client has been the leading provider of software solutions to the tyre industry for over 40 years. From the first ERP / POS platform they installed in 1981, they’ve been privileged to work with the leading tyre businesses across the UK & Ireland.
From small single depots, through to high street fast-fit brands and huge commercial fleet operators; they’re proud to continue playing their part in ensuring the nation’s tyres stay on the road and rolling.
To support their continued growth, they are looking for an ambitious individual to join their product management team and lead on their industry solutions portfolio. This individual will be passionate about delivering cutting edge software solutions utilising the Agile framework to support their clients in driving operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:

- Communicating with stakeholders
- Agreeing the scope of the project
- Setting and agreeing timelines for delivery
- Assessing risks
- Completion of project tasks
- Management of time within project budgets
- Optimising processes and productivity
- Maintaining high standards of delivery
- Motivating team members and living the company values
- Conducting data analysis performance pre and post delivery to assist Marketing
- Creating project documentation
- Escalation point for the customer support desk
- Support customer facing resources with product demonstrations and general consultation where required
- Provide high standards of training and development to customers both internal and external
- Accurate recording of time against tasks and tickets
- Compliance with all company policies

Skills & Experience Required

- Previous experience of working within the tyre industry would be preferred.
- Proactive and positive attitude towards work, with good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all functions and levels of the organisation.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and platforms
- Lead on quality assurance
- Own deployments of Software
- Continuous improvement - Use varying tools and techniques to identify and drive improvements to quality and delivery
- Competent in delivering products and services in an agile environment
- Sound understanding of tech and development practices
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to proactively prioritise, plan and schedule complex tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work well within and across teams
- Experience of AutoTask Software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to translate from business requirements into functional / technical document correctly and clearly
- Commercially focused
- An ability to quickly analyse operational issues, formulate and implement pragmatic solutions
- A good understanding of a range of IT technologies and suppliers
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- The ability to interact successfully with all levels of the business
- Be highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
- Be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
- Be flexible, some out-of-hours working will be required
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
