We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile banking clients. They are currently looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to join them for an initial 3-month contract. However, there may be scope for extension.

Role Purpose:

To help deliver projects to transform data in Insurance Pensions and Investments.
Typical Activities:

• Takes ownership for delivering a prescribed budget for own area of the organisation.
• Produces a project or workstream plan defining the delivery achievements, tasks, and activities; understands the project critical path and how own area of responsibility impacts this; monitors progress against project/workstream plan, identifies slippage and supports activity to recover.
• Follows the appropriate elements of the clients' project delivery lifecycle, including contributing to/completing formal reviews at appropriate points.
• Delivers outcomes by leading others and working within established systems.
• Reports progress and status to the appropriate partners on a timely basis, including identification and escalation of key risks and issues.
• Grows own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities and develops the capabilities of direct reports by working within existing development framework.
• Implements appropriate project support processes to manage issues, identify and minimise risks, monitor dependencies and record assumptions.
• Builds and maintains effective working and influencing relationships with appropriate colleagues.
• Sets short term objectives and helps handle the performance of direct reports within performance management systems.

Location:

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients Port Hamilton office in Edinburgh at least 2 days a week.

Working hours:

Standard working hours with some flex where required.
