Job description

Job Overview:

 

The Design Enablement team in Arm Solutions Engineering develops methodology, Tools and flows used for the development of our compute subsystem (CSS) products and SoC’s for a wide range of market segments including Client, Infra, IoT and Automotive. 

As part of this work, you will lead the SOC Design methodology initiatives within SE enabling SoC integration and verification teams to deliver high quality, fully traceable solutions leveraging both internally developed and third-party IP utilizing a blend of internal and external EDA tooling solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

As Technical Director SOC Design Methodology, you will be responsible to drive the definition and the automation of  our SOC integration et verification methodologies. 

You will closely work with our SOC Engineering  teams and techleads to define the requirements and get them implemented in end to end flow leveraging our Design Enablement Software resources.


Required Skills/Experiences

  • Comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of the EDA flow used for SoC system integration and verification.
  • Excellent knowledge of IP-XACT, System Verilog, CDC and other industry standards. 
  • Knowledge of machine readable specifications, continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Strong skills in scripting languages such as python, perl and php and flows used for version control such as svn, git, gerrit
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Proven ability working with global teams and various stakeholders


Nice to have skills

  • Experience of High Level Synthesis (HLS)
  • Experience of IP protection and export restrictions
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards including ISO 26262
