Plunge is a creative, busy and diverse company. We have a multitude of different projects on the go at any one time. Our teams work across several buildings on one site which means there can be lots of moving between the different workspaces, particularly when it's busy.
Plunge's designer must be well-versed in engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. They will collaborate closely with the team as well as engineers to ensure that the design is structurally sound, adheres to industry standards, and can be produced efficiently. This involves selecting the right materials, specifying tolerances, and understanding the mechanics of the end product.
Plunge's designer will work alongside the projects team to help with their quoting, planning and overseeing of projects through the workshop.
Because of this, Plunge's designer needs to be good communicator, very organised and used to juggling mutilple design jobs as once. They need to be able to stay level-headed and friendly during stressful times. They need to have an eye for detail and a creative bent.
