Thank you for your interest in the post of Technical Education and Training (TET) Programme and Quality Assurance Manager, with Historic Environment Scotland. This is a full time, permanent and pensionable appointment based at the Engine Shed, Stirling reporting to the Head of Technical Education and Training.
Your role as TET Programme & Quality Assurance Manager will be to lead, coordinate and logistically support training and event activity carried out by the TET Department online and in its three training centres - the Elgin Skills Centre, Stirling Skills Centre, and the Engine Shed in Stirling. You will be responsible for establishing and managing a system of Quality Assurance operational standards and setting standard practices and processes. These practices and processes extend to ensuring there are robust reporting mechanisms in place for tracking progress on all work carried out by the team. This multifaceted and diverse post will require substantial liaison at a senior level with internal stakeholders, as well as external delivery partners and customers.
