Technical Engineer Support

We have an exciting opportunity for an award-winning Engineering company based in a picturesque location on the outskirts of York, easily accessible from Selby, Tadcaster & Goole.

You will maintain close contact with customers along with the internal team to support orders through pre-sales discussion, deployment, and post-sales support phases, ensuring that you are providing an excellent customer experience.

This Technical Engineer Support role will include the following duties:

• Work with customers during the pre-sales and pre-deployment phases to define equipment, configurations and strategies to satisfy their requirements
• Remotely support customers undertaking work in the field but answering support questions
• Track changes to customers' requirements and dates, monitor the preparation of the product, ensuring all parties are working to the same timescales
• Run a MS Teams training session with the crew or engineers that are going to use the product
• Produce test procedures for customers based on mutually agreed testing strategies, producing reports summarising test findings for customers after testing has been completed
• Obtain feedback from customers on completion of orders and feedback to relevant department

To be successful in this Technical Engineer Support role you will:

• Have a professional and friendly demeanour, able to communicate confidently
• Have a logical and methodical approach to work
• Have an understanding or interest in Engineering or Electronics
• Be able to find technical problems remotely and able to find a solution
• Have the ability to analyse results and write reports

This will be working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, earning a salary at or around 30,000-35,000 depending on experience. You must be able to drive and have access to your own transport due to the location.
