We are looking for an enthusiastic, focused sales professional to join our team. We are a leading solutions provider for safety and control in the fueling, storage and transport of hazardous liquids. Represent a worldwide brand engineered and manufactured in the USA, that is focused on providing innovative, reliable solutions that protect people and the environment.
Responsibilities:
* Make technical presentations and build relationships with all existing customers and new prospects covering UK and Ireland.
* Assist management in developing an annual forecast and sales plan for our UK market.
* Prospect for new business and cultivate opportunities within the existing customer base with a focus on petroleum, chemical & bio-fuel transport terminals and large common carriers.
* Expand the company’s reach into other markets including lube, LPG, food-grade and other liquid transfer and storage applications.
* Attend industry trade shows.
* Document all Customer interactions on the Syteline CRM System.
* Plan travel 3-4 days with nights out where necessary nationwide.
* Vehicle provided for business use.
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Field Technical Sales role, for a company that manufactures and designs electrical/electronic systems.
* Strong strategic and analytical skills
* Experience with CRM tools and demonstrated commitment to management reporting.
* Proven track record in developing and achieving sales goals & forecasts.
* Strong technical presentation skills.
* Must have a clean driving record.
* Provide minimum two references to progress to offer.
* Agree for DBS check to be carried out.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Petroleum or Chemical Transport or Industrial Controls industry experience
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Thinks strategically and takes initiative.
* Results-oriented
* Takes responsibility and demonstrates follow-through.
* You would be ideally located within approximatly two hours communte to our office in Winsford, Cheshire. (no expectation of daily office visit as this is a field based role).
