Senior Principal Digital Design Engineer - Edinburgh

I am looking for an experienced Digital Design Engineer to come and join my client, a leading-edge technology company that develops solutions for large complex batteries, which are used in a range of applications such as electric vehicles, buses, and marines. They are now looking for a Technical Lead for their complex digital mixed-signal projects.

This an exciting opportunity to work in a new innovative team which will see drastic growth over the coming years with the ban on petrol cars. This unique opportunity will allow you to work in a ‘start-up’ environment with the backing of a big company, allowing you to learn and demonstrate your knowledge from the rest of the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 7 + successful tapeouts
• Experience in Digital Design with strong skills and knowledge of RTL design,
• Experience with standard bus protocols
• Experience in a Technical Leadership role
• Experience working on automotive IC's or knowledge of automotive frameworks such as ISO26262 is highly desirable
• Experience in UVM, DSP, Filter Design or FPGA would be highly desirable
