Technical Manager for Chilled Food Manufacturer with strong sustainability agenda

Up to circa £65k per annum with Bonus Potential

Technical Manager for Food Manufacturer based in Pembrokeshire. Strong leader who can drive performance in others and bring people “on a journey.”
Reporting to the Site Director, responsibilities for the role will include:
- Implementing the company’s technical and quality strategy to ensure the site is always audit ready
- Leading technical team to deliver the site business plan
- Developing and implementing the site food safety plan
- Maintaining high standards of food safety/ quality, health & safety and environment
- Managing and overseeing technical related budgets and financial planning
- Conducting incident investigations, including risk assessments
- Supporting independent audits across the company
Essential / Desirable skills include:
- Experienced Technical Manager ideally with science-based Degree/ Diploma
- Chilled food manufacturing experience is essential
- In-depth understanding of micro and associated hygiene practices (food handling, cleaning & disinfection etc)
- Experience working with multiple retailers
- Level 3 Food hygiene and Level 4 HACCP
- Ideally Driving licence
