About the Technical Manager job
The purpose of your role will be to have overall responsibility for all technical operations, regulatory requirements, and technical focus for the company.
Key tasks
- Oversee and maintain the QMS in accordance with the current version of the BRC Food Safety Global Standards, conduct HACCP & lead the HSACCP team effectively.
- The Technical manager is the point of contact and action for all customer technical requests. This includes but is not limited to SAQ, specifications, complaints, non-conformances, NPD.
- Works with integrity whilst maintaining ongoing compliance across the board including ensuring organic and fairtrade certification requirements are consistently met.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar technical role with varied food product experience and exposure to working with suppliers/customers as well as relevant industry food qualifications.

The Technical Manager is a part time homebased role and is paying c. £50,000 according to your experience.
The package includes some occasional travel, and the role could be 2/3/4 days per week.
Salary or day rate is very flexible for the right candidate.
