Location: Office / Home based
The main purpose of this role is to manage the Fire Safety Management specialist function, ensuring that this organisation is fully compliant and up to date with the required legislation and adhering to best practise.
You will ensure Fire Safety is inspected, managed and maintained in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and any other appropriate Health and Safety legislation.
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge of preparing comprehensive fire related work specifications and work designs to a high standard
- Extensive knowledge of the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) Order 2005
- Extensive experience of carrying out Fire Risk Assessments to PAS79 standard
- Desirable experience of carrying out other types of non-domestic surveys
- Demonstrate knowledge of Health & Safety at an operational level
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of the Building Regulations, Disabled Access, Fire, CDM and Health & Safety Legislation
