Technical Product Owner - CRM
Luton/Hybrid
easyJet is looking for a Technical Product Owner to take Product Ownership for some of our in-house systems related to Customer Relationship Management.
Job Purpose
The Technical Product Owner will primarily be responsible for owning and managing the product backlog for these systems, as well as overseeing the development and support activities of the development team. They will work with relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) to analyse problems, prioritise needs, and manage expectations for enhancements to existing systems.
Moreover, they also will work with third-party suppliers to facilitate and manage integration with our Web APIs, maintaining a working technical understanding of the design and architecture of these applications.
What you’ll need to do the role
· Take the lead of a scrum team as the Technical Product Owner for some of our key CRM systems
· Maintain a solid technical understanding of the underlying design and architecture of the key systems
· Plan, prioritise and manage the product backlog, in keeping with requirements from relevant stakeholders
· Oversee development activities, and ensure that the development team has an adequate backlog to work on
· Help to shape and define the roadmap for future development of these systems, including highlighting any maintenance activities required
· Work with third-party suppliers/consumers of our key systems and APIs
· Ensure all risks and issues are captured, tracked and appropriate actions taken, with the CRM Technology Manager
· Ensure all design, quality and security governance processes are followed in line with the direction set out by Strategy and Architecture
Skills & Experience
· Demonstrable experience working as a Product Owner
· In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
· Ability to self-organise
· Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Resilient and able to work under pressure
Desirable
· Previous experience as a developer, business systems Analyst or related technical role
· Previous experience and knowledge of CRM Systems including CIAM (ForgeRock), CDP (mParticle), Braze and CEP
