Technical Product Owner/Development Background - Blockchain - London - Up To £85K

My client is a cutting-edge financial technology company that specializes in blockchain solutions and fund administration services. They are dedicated to providing innovative and secure solutions to our clients in the rapidly evolving world of blockchain technology and financial management. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Manager with a strong background in blockchain and fund administration to lead the development of their next-generation products and services.

Position Summary:

I am looking for a Technical Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in guiding the development of blockchain-based solutions and fund administration services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both blockchain technology and the intricacies of fund administration, and will be responsible for driving the product strategy, design, and development from concept to market launch.

Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy: Develop and drive the product strategy for blockchain and fund administration solutions in alignment with the company's vision and business goals.
2. Market Research: Conduct extensive market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis to inform product decisions.
3. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring that they align with customer and market demands.
4. Product Roadmap: Create a clear product roadmap, outlining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables, while managing expectations and adjusting plans as needed.
5. Development Oversight: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product development.
6. Blockchain Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of blockchain technology to guide the development of blockchain-based products, including decentralized applications, smart contracts, and blockchain networks.
7. Fund Administration Expertise: Apply your expertise in fund administration to design and develop solutions that streamline fund management, reporting, and compliance processes.
8. User Experience: Ensure that the user experience of the products is intuitive, efficient, and meets the needs of the target audience.
9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with blockchain and fund administration, including security, compliance, and regulatory concerns.
10. Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define testing strategies, ensure product quality, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
11. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including specifications, user guides, and training materials.
12. Launch and Post-Launch Support: Oversee product launches and provide ongoing support, tracking product performance, and making improvements as necessary.
13. You will have previous development experience, ideally in SQL/Query

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Finance, Business).
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Product management, preferably in blockchain or fund administration.
• Proven experience in developing and launching blockchain-based products and fund administration services.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, including distributed ledgers, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of fund administration, including regulatory requirements, reporting, and operational processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Certification in blockchain or fund administration is a plus.
