You'll have exposure to a one-stop-shop for manufacturing, with in-house capability including Sliding Heads, CNC Milling & Turning, Vertical Machining Centres, Forging, Thread rolling, Heat Treatment, Plating and an ISO approved laboratory for test and inspection.
Role Description:
The Technical Production Planning Engineer will play a pivotal role in taking engineering drawings/specifications from the point of customer order, and creating the most efficient/detailed Route Cards for shopfloor production inline with internal manufacturing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting customer specifications and supporting colleagues to create most efficient route for production team
- Provide Technical assistance and guidance to all areas of the business.
- Liaise with customers, contract review and sales team to ensure orders taken can be met
- Advising on areas of continuous improvement for internal process

- Ability to read and interpret customer orders and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of machining and understanding of precision machining processes, CNC machining, and tooling operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workload in a multidisciplinary environment.
Desirable
- Knowledge of API (American Petroleum Institute) and BSL (Bolting Specification Levels)
- Background in manufacturing of fasteners/gaskets/seals
- Epicor ERP software experience
- Change management and Continuous Improvement experience
- Hands-on machining background
