Our prestigious, unique market leading client based close to Norwich are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager due to the continued growth.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Wymondham.

As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in proposals and electrical engineering design, the role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at supporting the successful execution of engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand customer requirements and project objectives.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals, encompassing project scope, technical approach and timelines.
• Review and analyse Request for Proposal documents to ensure compliance with client specifications.

Technical Expertise:

• Apply your in-depth technical knowledge and experience to propose innovative and feasible engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams throughout the design and implementation phases.

Electrical Design:

• Develop detailed electrical designs, including schematics, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct engineering analysis and simulations as needed to validate design decisions.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including design reports, progress reports, and change orders.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with engineering design and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and assess project progress to identify and address any deviations from the original design or budget.

Continuous Learning and Development:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in your field to bring innovative solutions to projects.
• Attend relevant training and professional development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Client Interaction:

Act as a technical point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing technical explanations, and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications / Skills:

• The ideal candidate will possess an HND or a Degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Effective communication
• Technical expertise
• Meticulous attention to detail
