Technical Project Manager, Software Project Delivery Manager, SDLC, Digital Application Development, Mainly Remote

Technical Project Manager required to work for a Professional Services company based in Central London. However, this is Global role that may require some Global travel (fully expensed) but most of the work can be done from the comfort of your own home.

It will be your role to execute tasks as directed by your Director level line manager, Delivery & Digital Services and Global IT Directors. We want hardened evidence of your IT / Technical Project Delivery experience with SDLC / Software Development / Application Development, involving the likes of Digital Products and maybe even Product Automation related Projects. This is NOT a Product Management role but you will be involved in Delivering Projects around the evolution and modernisation of technical / digital products, amongst many other things. 

There is a written side to it too, where you will be writing and designing high level, strategic technical documents for the business to digest, prior to the Project executions. There will be several meetings that you will be running with key stakeholders in both the business and technology, where you would have to be confident enough to hold your own, run the meetings and be prepared to be challenged…by sometimes difficult stakeholders on occasions! 

They want this to be mainly about business outcomes and orientation (via technology of course). Be passionate about what impact the projects will have on the business and be energetic about articulating what positive impacts these will have on the business.

Experience Required: 

• 5+ years of project management experience across a number of different technologies, demonstrating detailed knowledge of processes and people management.
• Demonstrated significant experience in project management and related project processes, project methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, Lead/Six Sigma), project governance and stakeholder management. 
• Tertiary qualifications desirable (e.g., university IT degree, university business degree) 
• SDLC / Software Development / Application Development experience when it comes to Project Delivery – ESSENTIAL 
• Technical qualifications in a Project Management discipline (e.g., PMBOK, PMI CAPM/PMP or PRINCE2, Agile) desirable.
• Fundamental knowledge of the ITIL framework and/or service management approaches. ITIL certification preferred.
