The role
As a Technical Quality Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll provide dedicated support to the engineering technical and operational teams in the resolution of product quality and process issues that can affect operational output and conformity.
Day to day, you'll review non-conformance responses from suppliers to achieve effective root cause and actions and support engineers in triage investigation.

• Provide guidance and support to Technical Engineers on 'triage' and other investigations being undertaken with regards to quality, escalating where required.
• Review Non-Conforming Material (NCM) responses from suppliers and work with them (and internal stakeholders such as supplier relationship management as required) to achieve suitable root cause and corrective actions
• Maintain and improve non-conformance databases to ensure accurate data capture.
• Support the Technical Quality Manager in the data analysis and review of internal and external stakeholder performance and escalate where required
• Manage the day-to-day activities for the progression and resolution of customer feedback received by the business.

This role is full time, 37 hours and based on site at Donnington.

Qualifications for the Technical Quality Specialist:

• Completed relevant technical or vocational qualification equivalent to NQF Level 3 (Advanced apprenticeship, level 3 NVQ)
• Lead Auditor qualified (ISO 9001:2015) or willing to work towards
• Qualified or experienced Lean Six Sigma practitioner

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
