BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000

This is a consultative technical sales role from start to finish.

So what do I need to succeed?
 
· Either via education or work experience, you will have some exposure to a technical environment. This could come from a variety of disciplines, such as Project Engineer, Service Engineer or technical support or an NVQ, HND or ONC in a technical or engineering based subject.
· They key is that you have the potential to be credible in front of engineering and technical customers and candidates.
· A track record of achieving targets within a sales environment.
· The skill to overcome objections and be tenacious, but not pushy - that's what everyone else does!
· The ability to connect with people and build long standing, professional working relationships with key decision makers.
· A consultative approach to selling.
· A natural instinct to close!
· The ability to negotiate favourable terms ensuring a 'win-win' (our MD's favourite phrase).
· Highly developed communication skills.
 
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services:  Technical Recruitment, Technical Sales, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Consultative Engineering Sales, Recruitment, Sales, Account Management, Business Development Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Retained Recruitment
