They\'re looking for a Technical Reporting Accountant to join the established finance team.
Technical Reporting Accountant
* Responsibility for the preparation of statutory accounts and annual FVA regulatory returns for Homes England for Group.
* Responsible for reviewing and updating group accounting policies, ensuring they are compliant with Housing SORP, Accounting Direction and relevant accounting standards.
* Responsible for managing the relationship with external agencies, including auditors throughout the audit process.
* Responsibility to plan and organise the annual budget setting and subsequent forecasts for all Group entities in line with the financial and corporate group objectives.
* Responsibility for the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts and reports.
* Responsible for producing the annual benchmarking and business surveys.
* Responsibility to plan and organise the VAT, TAX, CIS submissions and stakeholder training.
About you:
You will be a qualified accountant with strong people/ team development expertise and experience of operating at a senior level, with previous experience of statutory and regulatory report development.
