We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Consultant to join our well-established Mansfield Service Branch. This role requires previous sales experience. Lift industry experience would be an advantage. This is a technical role that involves quoting for and securing sales for minor repairs on industrial lifts.

As the Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships with existing customers. As well as seeking out opportunities from non-contract customers.

Our customers are important, so we take our time to understand their individual requirements. It is important that we can specify the right solution for them. Our family values drive a fair and ethical approach, which means we never employ high-pressure tactics. This sales role is not driven by commission.

Strong communication skills and a good understanding of how to drive growth through minor repair activities are essential.

The successful candidate will be based from our Mansfield Service Branch, however, travel throughout the East Midlands is to be expected. A full UK driving licence is essential.

You will receive a competitive salary plus a benefits package which includes a company car/car allowance.

This role is suitable for an individual with experience in a similar role, for example as a Repair Sales Executive or Technical Sales Engineer, Maintenance Sales Manager and similar.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine opportunities sales opportunities within the existing portfolio.
  • Identify and target prospective new customers
  • Establish a robust internal sales opportunity lead network and create a sale pipeline of opportunities.
  • Arrange and conduct site surveys and meetings
  • Provide proposals and quotes to customers

Requirements:

  • Professional or technical qualifications within the Lift Industry
  • Demonstratable experience either in an engineering or sales capacity
  • Degree or equivalent, with postgraduate business qualifications desirable
