Technical Sales Engineer

Overview

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a growing manufacturing facility in the search of a Technical Sales Engineer. We are looking for candidates who have experience in field sales within manufacturing, ideally from automotive, fabrication or filtration. We are open to candidates outside of this, if you have experience and technical knowledge of the manufacturing process, the full product range will be taught if successful in the role. The Technical Sales Engineer is a new role to the business to drive change and bring a fresh perspective to the team! Responsibilities:

• Identify and target new business opportunities in the assigned market segment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and industry influencers.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
• Collaborate with the sales team to create customized solutions for customers.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations to customers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Technical Sales or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of technical products and solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
