Technical Sales Executive

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

Our client, a leading global supplier for mechanical and electrical drive systems, is seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Executive to join their team.
Job Description:
As the Technical Sales Executive, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming enquiries. With a primary focus on handling inquiries through email and telephone, responsibilities include providing quotations, following up on quotations, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. This is an opportunity to contribute to the client’s success in a role that does not involve outbound sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage and respond to high-volume incoming enquiries via email and telephone.
- Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers.
- Follow up on quotations to address questions, gather feedback, and facilitate the decision-making process for potential customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate communication of product specifications and features.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or experience in a Technical Sales position.
- Knowledge of rotational / rotary equipment preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in a high volume internal sales vacancy.
