We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our ambitious Foundation Sales team.
What we can offer
Within Cadeler’s business area for Foundation Transport & Installation, it is vital to have the necessary technical support in the sales process. We are therefore looking for a Technical Sales Manager to work with the Foundation Sales team to deliver excellence in the face of challenges.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Responsible and accountable for the technical feasibility of Foundation T&I tender packages.
- Support in the preparation of the tender strategy.
- Review ITT documentation, raise technical clarifications/qualifications/deviations as needed.
- Identify key technical optimizations to provide the most cost-effective tender.
- Responsible for preparing the overall Foundation T&I tender program and package according to the tender plan.
- Structure technical scope and workflow process for tender preparation, together with other internal functions and external subcontractors/consultants.
- Responsible for obtaining all required technical information for proposals from all stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth interfaces between the other departments to identify tender risks, feeding into the Risk Assessment process.
- Responsible for preparing technical scope for subcontractor/suppliers RFPs and for technically reviewing subcontractor proposals.
- Support presenting and defending the proposed technical package.
- Focal point for Client and Subcontractors/suppliers technical clarifications.
- Negotiate technical annexes part of the contract with the Client and subcontractors/suppliers.

As a person, you are able to manage many stakeholders and collaborate well both internally and externally and have excellent communications skills. Furthermore, you are well organised and time management and structure comes natural to you.
We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies:
- BSc or MSc degree in engineering.
- 5+ years’ industry experience in a project, technical or commercial department.
- Experience in a technical-related role in the Offshore Wind or oil and gas sector.
- Financial and strategic business understanding.
- Competent in standard Microsoft IT Packages, SharePoint, Teams.
