Job Description


In this exciting, and diverse role of high impact we are hiring an energized, tenacious and highly driven Technical Sales Specialist - Northern Region to join our Avery Dennison Graphics business (https://graphics.averydennison.eu/) home based within the UK with access to our location in Cramlington with a direct reporting line to our TSS Manager EMENA.

This role is a role where 75% of the time traveling to customers and both internal and external partners within NR Region is required. Occasionally you may be required to travel to other EMENA locations.

TSS activities:

  • On a daily basis, and as an integral part of our European Technical Sales team, you will be driving world-class technical advisory and developing new opportunities by increasing and exceeding customer excellence and experience.
  • By traveling within North Region (UK&IRE, Scandinavia), you will be the first point of contact for technical support and advice to the partners in the ECOsystem (distributors, converters, installers, etc.) and suppliers in the printing and converting industry,as well as in wrapping and window films business, regarding applications, conversion and installations.
  • As a reliable business partner to your customers and suppliers you will analyze, troubleshoot, and quickly resolve our customers' issues when it comes to printing, adhesives, conversion, or application, and improve added customer value by demonstrating our capabilities and building stronger customer intimacy and relationships.
  • You will be working on projects either by leading or participating in project teams, where strong business acumen with technical background will help to identify, create and execute business opportunities for Graphics self adhesive films in Automotive and Architectural areas either within existing business models or in newly developing ones. .
  • Next to the Technical support you will be responsible for training in your area. The trainings are divided into two areas. First we have the product specific training for the different partners in the ECOsystem, secondly we have a group of external certified trainers that manage bigger workshops. These trainers and their trainings in the region will be managed by the Technical Sales Spec.

Qualifications
  • (University) Degree with focus on printing technologies or production processes, or a related field is welcome
  • Previous 3+ years experience in a Technical Sales, technical support, research & development, quality assurance,or production, ideally within the Graphics or printing and labeling industry
  • Strong business acumen with technical background
  • Passion for customer excellence as well as ideally knowledge of latest printing / packaging / labeling technologies and familiarity with self-adhesive materials for car wrapping and/or architectural industry, printing technologies and/or labeling solutions
  • Fluency in English, ability to communicate in Scandinavian languages is a plus.
