Our client is seeking Technical Sales Support person to come and join their team. Based near Ilminster, this is an onsite full time position, Salary depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support
- Support the Technical Sales departments internal & external sales functions.
- To provide technical assistance/advice to customers and produce detailed quotations.
- Keep internal & external sales functions up to date with latest production lead-times, product issues, stock levels and transportation requirements.
- Assist repeat business by providing excellent customer service.
Post-Sales Support
- Responsible for receipt of sales orders into the company and ensuring all are communicated to the Customer Service team for processing.
- Assist the Customer Service team where required
- Responsible for timely acknowledgment of company lead times, ensuring that they are correctly communicated and documented to customers.
- Where required, prepare and issue project programme to customers.
- Liaise with the Production Manager & Team Leader to ensure all orders are progressed within agreed time scales.
- Liaise with customers and Transportation Team to ensure all goods are appropriately packed and delivered on a suitable vehicle.
- Responsible for post-order correspondence with customers ensuring all aspects of a project are effectively communicated and documented.
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
Track record of working a busy demanding business environment requiring strong communication skills.
Good commercial awareness.
Experience of working within a similar environment.
