Main Duties
- Full responsibility, leadership & management for the Technical Services, Field Engineering and Product Training teams
- Manage continual evaluation & improvement process to improve quality, cost reduction, product safety, customer satisfaction
- Managing the performance of the department and management through effective key performance indicators, targets, and goal settings
- Ensure compliance with standards for HSEQ including lead manager for product recalls
- Attend Business Review Meetings as required
Skills and Knowledge
- Experience in a senior management role including responsibility for management of an entire function or site and full P&L responsibility.
- Electrical engineering background with supporting qualifications & experience in mechanical engineering
- Fully conversant with both the Distribution, Contracting and Service operational models.
- Well-developed analytical skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and management of variances.
- Proven negotiation skills, with both internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices, procedures, and regulations.
- A demonstrable, positive attitude that is distilled into the full team ethos, creating a positive and driven set of individuals who are working as one team, that achieve and exceed the targets set.
- A team leader who by example demonstrates an abundance of energy, passion, and drive.
- Excellent IT skills
- Exceptional commercial and financial awareness is expected at this level.
- Excellent communication skills and able to gain senior management confidence.
