Technical Support Analyst

Hays are working with an established professional services organisation to recruit a permanent Senior Technical Support Analyst. The role is paying up to £34,000pa, with an option to opt into an on-call bonus. The role offers hybrid working, roughly 2 days on site per week in north Bristol. Your new role
Within the role, you will respond to customer and user queries providing technical advice, guidance and resolutions on a range of queries in relation to the organisations services. You'll utilise technical skills in software / hardware, including SQL Server, Windows & Oracle. You'll look after and manage databases and be proactive around problem management, implementing preventative measures. You will be involved in investigation and fault-finding, focusing on continuous improvement and diagnosing hardware and software faults.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Some of the skills and experience required include working in a similar Technical Support role in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to have good knowledge of SQL Server 2012+ and also have experience with Windows Server & Active Directory. Configuring, managing and maintaining database servers is essential and problem management best practice would be beneficial.
