Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Technical Support Assistant Manager where you form part of a small team working remotely and offering Technical Support and assistance predominantly by telephone, and, email for our clients and engineering staff on all of the electronic security products we supply and install.

This is an integral role within the business and your skills and experience from working within the security industry will be pivotal in ensuring that the team is guided and trained to the best of their ability without compromising on standards and customer service.

What can you bring to Banham?

Your experience of working in a similar role or field-based position whereby you have been managing a team as well as servicing/ trouble-shooting, or installing security systems will enable you to bring:


  • Product knowledge including but not limited to:
    • Pyronix, HikVision, Comelit, Paxton, BPT, EMS, Kentec, HyFire, as well as a general knowledge of Alarms, CCTV, Fire, Access control and Entry systems.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Administrative and IT skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels from senior management to operational staff and engineers.
  • Excellent people and performance management skills: motivate, coach, develop, inspire, and lead.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, organise and work under pressure.
  • Proactive mindset, learning new technologies and, keeping up to date with technical updates, new products, and solutions.
  • Ability to follow procedures and processes in-order to follow Company objectives and instructions, particularly when it comes to customer data (GDPR) and protection of their security and the Company’s responsibilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
