The Role - Technical Support Specialist, Mass Spectrometry
Following expansion, they seek to recruit a Technical Support Specialist responsible for:
- Providing scientific, technical and training support
- Investigating and troubleshooting queries
- Collecting and analysing data
- Handling customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Working closely with the sales, service, marketing and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Your Background - Technical Support Specialist, Mass Spectrometry
To succeed in this exciting role, you will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience as a laboratory technician or scientist with extensive experience of using High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
- Or as a Field Service Engineer, Applications Engineer or Technical Support Engineer working on a range of High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
- Ideally you will be educated with an HNC, HND or BSc in a life science or engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years experience with life sciences instrumentation
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments
