Technical Writer 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. This role involves working closely with architects, engineers, business analysts, product managers and product owners to produce high-quality documentation that meets the needs of our users and enhances the overall user experience. 

The responsibilities 

  • Rollout and manage adoption of internal and external Wikipedia style knowledge bases. 

  • Create, edit, and maintain a centralised, high quality and consistent set of documentation for software products, including user guides, API documentation, developer guides, release notes, and online help. 

  • Organize and manage the documentation library, ensuring documents are easy to find, access, and use. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with the latest software releases and updates. 

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, product managers, and customer support, to gather information and understand documentation requirements. 

  • Participate in product design and development meetings to stay informed about new features and changes. 

  • Write documentation that is clear, concise, and tailored to the target audience, including end-users, developers, and technical staff. 

  • Review and edit documentation produced by other team members for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guides.
