Technician / Inspector – Electrical (SO1)
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician/Inspector to join our Electrical team. As a Technician/Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of electrical systems and equipment. This is a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our operations and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest quality standards.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety. You must have a thorough understanding of electrical systems and equipment, and be able to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and tests of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve electrical problems.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrical technician or inspector.
Thorough understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Hours Per Hour: 35.00
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 16:30
Pay Per Hour: £20.59
