Location: Harpenden, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom (3-4 days per week on site, with UK wide travel frequently required)

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A demonstrable background as a technician / engineer, ideally with a related qualification (such as BTech, HNC, etc.
- Proficiency using power tools, circular saw, drills, angle grinders, routers.
- Knowledge of CAD software, image and 3D models, managing tools, Excel, data analysis
- Familiarisation with workshop Health & Safety practices and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license, and an ability to travel and sometimes work in harsh outdoor environments.
- Nice to have - experience in welding, digital fabrication (fab lab)
- Desirable personal traits include management skills & the ability to self-manage, balance multiple projects and tasks, communicate ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, both creative and logical thinking, and a strong problem solving approach.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
A Technician / Engineer is required to play a key role in the physical installation of our systems across various farm sites in the UK, as well as contributing to general engineering related activities and product builds from our HQ in Harpenden. This could represent a great opportunity for somebody with a strong hands-on engineering grounding who is looking to expand their engineering skillset in future, by gaining true commercial experience in a setting where cutting edge R&D and Product Development is at the forefront.
