Role Responsibility
Care technology will be central component to how services are delivered in Adult Social Care, aligned with the core principles of our Making a Difference Every Day strategy. Working with our delivery partner PA Consulting, the post holder will harness the opportunities of digital technology to enable independent living, provide greater choice and control, and optimise a person’s outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and embed the new service.
The role will work with people who draw on care and support, Adult Social Care practitioners and partners to improve people’s knowledge and confidence in using technology to meet people’s care and support needs. The Technology Enhanced Lives Service Co-ordinator role will be crucial in ensuring the objectives and benefits for the Technology Enhanced Lives Service are realised.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

The post holder will have line management responsibilities for 1 to 2 staff members.
