Telecare Operator

Telecare Operator needed with Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council

StartDate- ASAP

Location - Poole

Duration - Initially 3 months

Hoursperweek - 37 hours per week

Salary - £15.81ltd per hour

BCP are currently recruiting for a Telecare Operator to join their team working a shift pattern of 7 12 hour shifts within a period of 16 days.

Description:

• Telecare operators must be able to immediately make critical decisions using their own initiative whilst managing problems and queries in line with the Council's Policies and Procedures.
• Telecare officers must be able to react and prioritise information from a variety of different sources, in such a way that ensures the safety and security of clients and the public in general.
• Telecare operators must have physical and manual dexterity to carry out the "On Call" element of the role as well as installing and removing equipment from properties.
• As a Telecare officer you must have the ability to assemble and operate assisted lifting equipment whilst physically and emotionally supporting the client.

What is required?

• Full valid UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and good computer skills.
• Experience of providing excellent customer service, face to face and via the telephone.
