Telecoms Engineer

We are looking for a Telecom Engineer for a telecom service provide in Huddersfield on perm basis. In this role, you'll play a key role in bridging the gap between telecommunication, IT infrastructure and systems and clients’ success. You'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of installations, from initial site assessment to ongoing maintenance and user support.

We're looking for a team player who can seamlessly blend technical expertise with excellent communication skills.

We're looking for someone who:

• Possesses a strong understanding and extensive experience gained at field installations involving maintenance, particularly with Avaya IP Office, 8x8, 3CX, and MS Teams systems
• Has experience with Cat 5E/6 cabling termination and installation.
• Possesses experience with juggling switches, firewalls, Windows servers, and end-user systems is your forte.
• Can expertly configure and commission VoIP phone systems.
• Understands the intricacies of both Local and Wide Area Networks and navigates them with ease.
• Thrives in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Moves and changes within PABX systems
• Has basic networking principles
• Enjoys providing clear and concise training to users.
• Maintains excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Is detail-oriented and produces accurate reports.
• Has previous engineering experience
  

Desirable:

• Experience using Dynamics 365
• Familiarity with legacy systems like Panasonic, NEC, and Alcatel
