Telehandler

HRGO are recruiting a telehandler in Peebles for a manufacturing company on a construction site - this is temporary assignment with potential for long-term work.

Pay: £18-20 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (early finish on a Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Operate a telehandler machine to transport materials and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles using the telehandler machine.
• Inspect the telehandler machine before and after each use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved and equipment used.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and equipment.
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card is mandatory.
• Valid Telehandler license is mandatory.
• Proven experience operating a telehandler machine in a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
