Telesales Manager - Renewables Sector - Solar PV

Portsmouth

Prosper Recruitment are working in partnership with a renewables company who are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Telesales Manager to join their team in Portsmouth. As a Telesales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of telesales advisors, driving sales growth, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: Train and develop telesales advisors to achieve their full potential. Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to improve their performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and set targets for individual team members.
  • Team Growth: Identify staffing requirements and actively participate in recruiting and hiring new telesales advisors. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to promote productivity and motivation.
  • Marketing Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and evaluate telesales campaigns. Ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies and objectives. Monitor campaign performance and make necessary adjustments to drive optimal results.
  • KPI Management: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for the telesales team and track performance against targets. Implement effective monitoring and reporting systems to measure team and individual performance accurately.
  • Lead Conversion Training: Train the telesales team on effective techniques to convert cold and warm leads into sales appointments. Provide guidance on handling objections, nurturing prospects, and closing deals. Continuously improve the team's sales skills through ongoing training initiatives.
  • IT Upgrade and Future Growth Strategy: Get involved in upgrading telesales technology infrastructure and contribute to the development of a future growth strategy. Collaborate with the IT department to identify and implement systems that enhance productivity and streamline processes.
  • Call Centre Experience: Prior experience of working in a call centre environment will be advantageous. Apply your knowledge of call centre operations and best practices to optimise telesales performance and customer service levels.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Telesales Manager or similar role, preferably in a related industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective telesales strategies.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Solid understanding of marketing techniques and campaign execution.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and telephony systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands.
