Job title: Temporary Accommodation Assistant

Salary: £22,142 - £23,653 per annum pro rata (AP1)

Contract: Fixed term to 31 March 2025

Work pattern: 17.5 hours

Location: Annan/Dumfries

About the role

The role has a focus on providing a welcoming service to people who are experiencing homelessness and living in our supported accommodation projects. The Temporary Accommodation Assistant will carry out a daily wellbeing check of residents living in the accommodation and will provide practical assistance/guidance to them with cooking, cleaning etc. when required. The Temporary Accommodation Assistant will also provide administrative support to the Temporary Accommodation team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar support environment and have a sound understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards.
