Salary: £32,652 - £34,370
Location: Ealing office base with flexible hybrid working
Contract: 12-month fixed term contact, 35 hours per week

Role Overview
We are looking for a Temporary Accommodation Officer to join our fantastic specialist housing division. This role is tasked with delivering an effective and quality housing management service to residents and landlords in relation to Temporary Accommodation homes. To achieve performance targets, maximise customer satisfaction living in Temporary Accommodation and to landlords who lease their properties to A2Dominion.
Key responsibilities:
- To carry out property appraisals, inspections, lease negotiations, renewals and hand backs for the TA stock
- To ensure that properties are let as quickly as possible and that tenants understand the terms of the tenancy agreements
- To manage TA tenancies in accordance with policies, procedures and targets ensuring appropriate action is taken to resolve issues identified
- To be the point of contact to investigate and resolve complaints and breaches of tenancy providing relevant support, advice and guidance
- To agree schedules of works required and offer appropriate support to enable works to be carried out in accordance with lease agreements, policies and procedures
- To ensure that IT systems are regularly updated and effective manual record systems are maintained
- To assist the Area Manager in providing reports, statistics and other information relating to the performance of the TA team
- To build relationships with internal and external stakeholders of A2Dominion and the TA team
More about you
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
- Strong IT and communication/negotiation skills
- Previous Housing or Property management experience
- Experience of problem solving for customers and understanding customer needs
- Previous experience of working in a customer service role
- Knowledge of housing law and housing management issues, including tenancy breaches and management of anti-social behaviour
