Your new company
Our client, a local government authority in Suffolk, is seeking an Administrator to join their small Electoral team in Ipswich. The organisation provides a range of services for the community, including housing, planning, leisure, and waste management. Your new role
This temporary position will run from February/March until May 2024, when the election takes place. You will be involved in providing administrative support to the team, liaising with other departments and stakeholders, packaging and sorting of paperwork and post, spreadsheets, and letters of correspondence. This role involves preparation, monitoring, and evaluation of project plans for key events, and subsequent monitoring of performance against milestones and outcomes. You will also update the website with relevant content and support new initiatives to improve accessibility and turnout.
What you\'ll need to succeed
The right candidate will be committed and focused on improving and completing the project, assisting with engagement. You will be a confident communicator who can liaise comfortably with stakeholders. You will have prior administrative experience and the ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload.
