Three temporary Admissions Officer's required within the Admissions Dept, providing support within a busy education environment. This role implements and co-ordinates the processing of student applications. The post holders will oversee the day-to-day aspects of admissions, liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to provide an efficient and professional admissions experience.
Duties:
- Responsible for all aspects of administering and processing student applications, including:
- Providing professional advice and guidance on admissions and recruitment processes and procedures, processing applications, assessing qualifications, fee assessing, working with Recruitment teams and CRM team to support conversion activity
- To undertake specific responsibilities relating to key areas of Admissions including:
- International Admissions, including liaison with UKVI, issuing CAS, maintaining awareness and understanding of UKVI policy and processes, English Language requirements and International application figures and trends
- Criminal convictions
- Clearing, confirmation and enrolment
- Monitoring / processing UCAS / direct applications
- Act as a supervisor for Admissions Advisers
- Support the Admissions Manager with generating and analysing applications statistics, reports and papers
- Ensure high standards of customer service
Applicants will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have strong data processing and analysis abilities, a high level of attention to detail, effective and approachable communication skills, along with the ability to work autonomously.
