Salary - £12.93 per hour PAYE 

£15.85 per hour Ltd Umbrella 

Location - BN1 

Full time - Hybrid 

My Client, a Brighton based University are seeking an experienced and well organised Course Coordinator to assist their team in the following duties:

• Dealing with student enquiries directly, escalating and asking team members if you do not know the answer immediately to provide great advice. 
•  Assist with timetabling of courses and examinations.
• Ensuring that trackers are kept up-to-date and accurate so that all activity is monitored. 
• Providing support to School Staff, Examination Boards and external moderation. 
• Publicising activities, events and meetings to all relevant staff, students or external parties in an effective way.
• Planning and booking all aspects of courses and examinations (Room booking, staff allocation, etc.) 
• Provide support to the Heads of Departments and Directors within the School. 
• Attending meetings with the team to share information and contribute to the development of processes. 

The successful candidate will have :

• Effective planning and organisational skills to organise own workload and priorities.
• Competent IT skills to effectively manage own workload – MS Suite and databases.
• Effective communication skills to be able to explain regulations and policies in a clear concise manor. 
• Empathy and be able to communicate with sometimes anxious students. 
• Previous experience working within an educational setting with knowledge of exam boards and regulations is preferable but not essential.
