Form of workThe Burford Recruitment Company are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to support our client’s household team at a stunning countryside property whilst the family are in residence for six weeks in the summer from 13th June onwards.
This temporary position is ideal for a professional Housekeeper who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the entire property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Ensure all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals as needed.
- Manage and care for delicate fabrics, high-end furnishings, and valuable household items.
- Coordinate with other household staff to ensure smooth operation and exceptional service.
- Handle any special requests or tasks as directed by the family or household manager.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper in a luxury household or high-end hotel.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Discretion and respect for the privacy of the family.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional demeanour.
A typical day is 7.30am/8am start until 6pm with flexibility required. Our client would consider candidates looking to work any number of days per week.
Hourly rate is £20 per hour.
