TEMPORARY LECTURER – TRAVEL AND TOURISM

21.87 HOURS PER WEEK, TEMPORARY TO JUNE 2024

The Faculty of Health, Wellbeing and Management are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to deliver courses in Travel and Tourism and related areas to a diverse range of students across a number of levels. The post holder will work closely with Curriculum Managers and the Curriculum & Quality Leader to provide high quality learning and assessment opportunities that will enhance learning and teaching with a strong learner focus. You will be qualified to at least SCQF level 8 or equivalent (e.g. HND) and have experience of delivering and assessing the City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Air Cabin Crew (New Entrant) (4849).

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, work to their own initiative and relate well to student groups. You will support excellence in learning through the preparation and delivery of high-quality learning, teaching and assessment materials. Candidates must be qualified in appropriate subject area/s and previous teaching or training experience will be considered advantageous.
