Temporary Re-Fit Driver (Quad)

TEMPORARY REFIT DRIVER

The role is being offered for 1 month. Base unit in Bromborough, England, UK.

The job holder must be an excellent communicator, have good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise, be fully flexible in their approach to work and working hours.

Must also hold a full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.

This role will require late nights and early starts and also overnight stays with the occasional weekend work required.

Reporting to the Refit Driver - Team Leader or Stock & logistics Manager, the successful candidate will hold responsibility for the following duties:-

• Delivering and collecting goods and equipment to and from branches nationwide.
• Liaise with Technical Support Team and Engineers to trouble shoot any installation issues.
• Be proactive in working alone
• Fully proactive in their approach to work and in their daily responsibilities
• Carry out own risk assessments before any job is undertaken
• Be proactive in health and safety and ensure all health and safety measurement are adhered to.
• Vehicle checks to be done daily and issues to be reported promptly to the team leader.
• Before leaving the yard ensure vehicle is equipped with all appropriate PPE & aids to undertake the task at hand.
• Ensure all vehicle loads are secure using straps etc.
• Providing excellent customer service to all.
• Be responsible for own driving hours and working time directive and report issues to Team Leader.
• Understanding and implement driving laws
• Complete How you are feeling on TAPPS
• Other Ad-hoc roles
• Roles within Quad Warehouse as and when required

The job holder will report initially to the Refit Driver Team Leader, the ability to work as part of a team within a busy department is an important requirement together with excellent communication skills.
